Leave it All

and kiss me

Let the spring come,

Let the ice melt and the waters flood and carry the snow off the mountains.

Let the summer barge in,

Let the heat and dryness come and turn the soft green grass dead.

Let the fall arrive,

Let the smoke and fires fill the sky, turn the sun blood red.

Let the winter march on,

Let the wind howl and the snow pile up, roads turning to ice.

Let all the flights be canceled, leave the sun to it’s endless hunt, let the dreamers find their own stars, leave them to lust after the sky.

Leave it all,

Leave them to their own devices, kiss me.

Your mouth tasting like spring and the dying breath of summer while your snow cold hands ruck up my shirt, hiding the fire hot blood in your heart and last remains of smoke in your lungs.

Leave it all.... and kiss me.
