Too Big
Sometimes I take up too much space in the world. Like if the entire world were one moment I would stick out, awkwardly,

Black velvet, silky, dark, she moves between the raindrops, not wet but not dry. She maintains a balanced relationship with the shadows. Darkness gives liberally and takes what it needs. She silently pays each transaction, inhaling the void, exhaling pain -- spilling her breath upon those of whom she’s spilled blood, carnal energy vibrating gently through her long, wispy eyelashes. Calm chaos throbs patiently in her fingertips. With snake-like seduction, poisonous provocation, the young warrior stalks her prey unconsciously. The pitch-black ink of her gaze always leaves a fortunate stain. Slicing silence, removing reality, absorbing all, the panther woman smoothly sinks her curved claws into your unassuming soul.

Everyone has thought about the origin of man. The answers have eluded us, that much we understand. So I'll tell you a story

I’ve been falling in love, painfully, slowly for the last 38 years. My resistance has been incredible, clawing back towards sanity like a cat up a tree. Yet I find myself once again watching the world around me and succumbing to something I cannot understand but also cannot deny.

Hey you, beautiful down there on your knees… What are you doing? Who are you talking to? Why are you kneeling?” Spirit asked.

Lies don’t live here While truth can’t bear to breathe the air. Darkness mingles Amidst the nights light.

Imagine an orgasm, the blood pumping, sensations heightened, the explosion a moment holding heaven within its grasp. Now times this by at least 3 fold – a fire roaring throughout your entire system until it burns forth and leaves a beautiful spiraling mark on the world around. This is Soulgasm. A sensation that brings forth exhilaration, aliveness and completeness. The feeling of perfection in the now.

He threw me to the ground, so devastatingly sure in this action that he spared not even a moments glance to watch me crater against the bar. He left me lying there in that shadowed, stained, and pungent nether region where so many forgotten things meet their end. And honestly, I didn’t entirely blame him. I knew why he had done it, but still, naivety had woven the fanciful hope that in all we had shared he might have come to love me not for what he wished me to be, but for what I was. Now it seemed clear, as tepid pools of clumsily-spilt beer slowly soaked and wrinkled my body, that I had been a fool.

A Zodiac Love Poem From Me to Me A/N: I’ve always been one of those people who felt I matched my sun sign, Aquarius, really well in regard to both the positives and the negatives. Creative, open-minded? Yes. Aloof/detached at times and stubborn? Also yes. When I first found out my moon sign a year ago though, I didn’t get it. Aries? Hot-headed, impulsive, entrepreneurial Aries?? But reading into it deeply really helped me see how this side of me manifested in my closest personal relationships and allowed me to understand myself on a deeper level. It also prompted me to think about how these dual aspects of me- sun and moon- play together and inform one another when it comes to living life in my own way and my drive to achieve my goals. This poem is like a conversation between my sun and moon, a meeting and a melding of purpose.

Had it vanished without a trace, as advertised Think of the many graves not dug The tears not shed and obituaries not written
