She was just a girl, only a girl, watching through broken eyes.

Reminders of her hell scattered around her,

The pictures torn in two, the shattered frames.

Too hurt to regret the damage she had done,

Only thinking about how to forget all that had happened.

Walking through the shattered remains,

Leaving a bloody trail behind,

She curses the day she walked into that place.

Cursing herself for believing anything would ever go right,

Hating herself for wishing that it had.

Numb from all the pain,

Sitting on her roof watching the sky,

Searching for any shooting stars.

She just wants one wish to change something. Anything.

One wish to change her life, and to get her heart back
