I feel like a newborn child,

Unworthy of a thousand-year-old tree's lineage.

My roots delve deep into the very source,

Turning lush green in the Thung Nham mountains.

The stories of ancient herons once sung by mothers to lull their children,

Have now become timeless legends.

Our forefathers have transformed into prominent mountains and rivers,

Creating a land where the flag of Đinh Bộ Lĩnh waves to ward off foreign invaders.

Our nation's history is a rollercoaster ride,

From being subjugated to breaking free at last.

Thanks to the Lac Hong blood, the golden liver, and the iron heart,

Now we sit on a golden throne shaped like a heart.

With our people, like twin trees in a spring forest,

Hand in hand, we stride forward to open the future.

For those who have set foot in this mythical garden,

Dreams shall transform into emerald prosperity amidst a thousand trees.

Walking in the mythical garden today,

I see the dewdrops still glistening.

They bear the images of our forefathers, passing on strength to the next generations,

With faith to overcome all the challenges of time.
