If the City of Norfolk Could Talk
Visiting Norfolk, VA
If the city of Norfolk could talk,
It would ask vacationers,
To enjoy its beaches,
Take a sailing trip down the Elizabeth River,
To enjoy the local seafood,
Also to visit the Waterside District,
It would also ask you,
To enjoy the sunrise,
As you wake each and every day,
Hope you enjoy your stay,
It would ask you to visit,
The Mac Arthur Shopping Center,
The Scope,
Old Dominion University,
Norfolk State University,
To ride the Tide light rail,
It will take you wherever,
Without fail,
Cruise the Spirit of Norfolk,
Visit Chrysler Hall,
I would hope you have a ball,
See Nauticus,
Learn about this vibrant city,
The moonlight on the river,
Seems so pretty,
See all the flowers at the Botanical Gardens,
If you visit Norfolk,
Go through the town for a walk,
These are all things you would do,
If the city of Norfolk could talk.
