If I told you...

Poetry

By waqar jameelPublished 3 years ago 1 min read

If I told you that I love you,

It would be a crime.

Because to be able to express this,

Forces me to steal your time.

If I told you that I love you,

You will not believe how much.

Maybe because you can't see,

Something you cannot touch.

If I told you that I love you,

You would say you already know.

I've loved you since the beginning of time,

And I hope, I never have to let go.

If I told you that I love you,

You will say that you love me.

I do not see why I deserve your love,

When I still have many things.

If I told you that I love you,

You will not be surprised.

Because until now,

You should realize if I told you that I love you.

Will you be by my side

If you fail, you will support me

Have I tried after millions of times...?
