I would steal the moon for you my love

Can't you see that I would harness moonbeams to keep you

I would rally their reflections and collect the stars off of lakes and ponds

and keep them in jars

The way I keep your affection

I would string them together like ropes along the ceiling

and stretch them out like blankets to hold you

I would collect the sunshine out of dewdrops in the morning to put in your coffee to keep it warm

I would pull the rays from the sky and wear them like dresses so you could see my love just as much as you could feel it
