I Wish I Could See.

I Really Do.

And I wish I could see

what everyone else sees

inside of me.

And I wish I could tell

if the words fell

from honest lips.

All I can see is liars.

I will never see

what you claim is

within me.

I'll never believe

your words;

planted seeds.

But I'll tell you a

secret, yeah?

Try as you might

these seeds

are just weeds.

They'll not bloom

into wondrous beauties;

because I am not one.

I am full of scars and pain.

Too much trauma

for one man,

to unpack.

And I wish I could see

what everyone else sees

inside of me.

( I really do,

I do.)

And I wish I could tell

if the words fell

from honest lips.

But all I can see is liars.

I fear all I'll ever see,

is

Liars.
