I want to be lame with you

I want to hold your hand

As we walk through the morning dew

I want to just sit and do all the nothing

That people do when they’ve found something true

I had so much excitement

Too much sometimes

In my early life

I have nothing else to prove

Except that I want you

I want to be with you everyday

I want to see your face

A face impossible to look away from

I want nothing more

Than to be lame with you
