I don't want to be wrong again

love is so fundamental

By HufflecupPublished 2 years ago 1 min read

you lit the flame

And then walked away

It burned so brightly

And now it has faded

While you weren’t watching

I hear music when I see you

But you are deaf to my songs

When did we get too far apart to hear

We used to communicate so clear

I'm just so afraid to be wrong again

but I guess we were barely friends

I came into your life too late

probably unrealistic for us to date

I have to start over

and I am so lost

who decided finding love would take so long

my intuition is usually good

unless there are feelings involved

heartbreaksad poetry
