I Am Who I Am

I am who I am and that’s all I can be

Like the colors of a rainbow

There’s more to me than what the eyes can see

Made from sunshine and a little rain

It’s a testament to be said when I shine so brightly through all the pain

I don’t live to be perfect

I just live to be me

Released from the clouds

I have been set free

Bursting through with colors that will make anyone smile

Even if that moment only last for a little while

I pride myself with bringing joy into other’s lives

Turning their gray clouds into bright blue skies

I am the rising sun in the east

The colors I spread in the predawn sky will never cease

And when it’s my time to set in the west
