There is no longer a need
to say what I want
The voices they now only cry
You can’t be the one
Looking at the white walls
Emptiness envelopes me
Just like those blank walls
My insides feel empty
The urge to hold you
the need to tell you all
I bury them deep inside
for this time, I cannot fall
There is too much to lose
This is but a dead end
If my heart breaks again
I don’t think it can mend
I try to block all these thoughts
I need to get rid of you
But the heart shows no mercy
It can’t shut off the feelings of blue
Be gone, you, I tell myself
I need you no longer
But absence they say
Makes the heart grow fonder.
