To my darling Michelle, what can I say,

How beautiful you are, in every way,

I feel your compassion, your kindness shines through,

How lucky I am, to have finally met you,

You’ve opened my eyes, to what happy could be,

I thank you for helping, making me see,

When I look in your eyes, I’m lost & yet found,

And the beat of my heart, is now a deafening sound,

I never expected, to feel this way,

After only seeing you, a couple of days,

How I’ll remember, those times on our bench,

& that saying goodbye, could be such a wrench!

I’m counting down seconds, until we’re together again,

How I wish my true feelings, I could really explain,

When I am with you, the world disappears,

How I want to totally, alleviate your fears,

When you’re in my arms, I feel so complete,

The feelings I have, for you can’t be beat,

To be with you, I’d travel to the stars,

You are so amazing, just the way you are,

You’ve captured my heart, I miss you so much,

And how much I crave, your skin to now touch,

Until we’re together, my imagination we’ll be,

Where we’re always together, alone you & me.
