Feelings so strong

There are many things, which surprised me lately,

But mostly it’s how, you’ve impacted me greatly,

You stepped in to my life, like a ‘hurricane,’

And stole my heart, for which I’ll never complain,

I used to be, so guarded and fearful,

With my feelings, as I was ever so careful,

But when I met you, things totally unravelled,

I looked in your eyes, and I was utterly baffled,

Feelings so strong, what could this mean?

I knew right then, I was living the dream!

Never before, have I been captivated,

I was out on a ledge, totally infatuated,

As time goes by, these feelings grow stronger,

And the time we’re apart, feels like it’s getting longer,

I feel only myself now, when I’m with you,

Whilst pictures and calls, the week get me through,

For each day we’re apart, this promise I make,

That soon every morning, we will both awake,

Open our eyes, and a kiss we will make,

Holding you tightly, our bodies entwined,

Lost in our love, with complete peace of mind.
