Heart aches.

Loved once

By Perpetual ChibuifePublished 9 months ago 1 min read

In shadows deep, my heart does ache,

A symphony of sorrow, a soul's forsaken wake.

Once love's sweet song, now silent, cold,

In the ruins of dreams, my heart unfolds.

A tapestry of memories, woven in despair,

Each thread a reminder of a love once so fair.

Tears like raindrops, fall from weary eyes,

As I watch our love's beautiful sunrise.

But now it sets, in a crimson blaze,

A heart in ruins, lost in a bewildering maze.

The ache is real, the pain profound,

In heartbreak's embrace, I am unbound.

Yet from these ashes, I'll find my way,

Rebuild my heart, with each passing day.

For love may falter, and dreams may break,

But the human spirit, it will not forsake.

I like your use of images. Shadows, tapestries, threads, sunrise, sunset... very well done!
