Golden Drops

The Nourishment of Life

A single drop of water, so small and clear

Is a treasure beyond what may appear

Like a grain of gold, it has value untold

For it sustains life, both young and old

It nourishes the earth, and all living things

Without it, existence would have no wings

So cherish every drop, and let it unfold

For a drop of water is a grain of gold.

Great poem about something that almost all humans take for granted! Water nourishes all living things but because it's so abundant (at least in developed countries) people generally take it for granted.. I literally heard this fact last week from someone.. do you know the average person uses around 75 litres of water when taking a quick shower! That's insane!!
