Fireflies & Startrails by Nagoh Creative

full of hope

when all the stars start falling

from a sky above that’s yawning

all the kisses made in heaven

leave lip prints on your forehead

and how you run away from feelings

making bloodless hearts start bleeding

with my ashes in the open

I can feel you slip away

I will wait for all your sweet whispers

and the blessings from your heart

as I close my eyes from seeing

now I sit and wait for our love to start

About the picture used for this poem. I took this photo using a timelapse method of long exposures over a few hours. This allows you to see the rotation of our earth as time passes. The camera is facing North so that the north star (Polaris) is in view. What is truly wonderful about this image is how you can see some fireflies flying by. The little green dots are their glow being captured during the exposure.
