In the innocent sourness of a candy's delight,
A journey unfurls, could emotions take flight?
Each tangy sensation, a memory unfurled,
Of laughter and tears, in life's curious world.
But in the midst of tartness, a twist is revealed,
As sourness shifts, its bitterness peeled.
For within its sharpness, a sweetness emerges,
A potential surprise, a challenge converges.
All I can know, in life's sour moments, barriers rise,
Yet hidden sweetness has the chance to find our eyes.
Through trials and tests, our resilience is shown,
As sourness softens, and warmth could be known.
With each shared taste, a bond could be formed,
In the depth of connection, hearts are adorned.
Through highs and lows, love's endurance prevails,
As sourness fades, and sweetness unveils.
So let's cherish the blend, of sour and sweet,
In life's unfolding journey, hearts beat.
For in love's transformation, sour to sweet,
We find solace and strength, in moments discreet.

It Only Took One Minute.......
It only took a minute. I was sitting at the computer in my office when the phone rang. I picked up the receiver and then laid it down my desk as I went to find the student who the call was for. Within seconds I was back at my desk, ready to resume typing, when I heard the student yelling obscenities at me for listening in to his call through the handset that was still lying on the desk. Sick and tired of the lies he was spewing, I was up running down the hall, ready to kill him. By the time I reached him, I had calmed enough not to hurt him, but as I turned back towards my room, I knew that I couldn’t go on like this any longer. The decision was clear. I had to leave.
