I thought they were my attraction
But they were just mere distraction
It wasn’t ‘til I met you
That I knew what was true
An attraction beyond the surface
I had felt worthless
Until I met you
Now
I can’t stand when you’re away
I miss you everyday
In every way
Your smile
Your smell
Your sashay
The look you give me
When your eyes lock on mine
Like we are but one mind
The desire to just be near you
To sit
And unwind
I knew nothing would be the same
When the wave crashed around us
Was it true?
Did you feel it too?
Sitting here
Feeling nothing but missing you

Wow a poem about the past of a relationship? I enjoy those! Realistic! Read mine too? https://vocal.media/fiction/an-irrevocable-dream-about-a-mermaid
Very nice.
Nice one! I remember one love story like that in my youth. When you miss someone so much, it can be hard to function normally...
