Forged

In these days of conflict,

Where strain intertwines with strife,

With weakened resolve and dulled instinct,

And there's a battle to endure this life,

When the sweat would drop, and the blood would flow,

And despair could then subdue,

Where the scoffers mock, and the heart would grow,

From all that we have been put through,

Neither constant delays, nor scornful dismays,

Should subdue or weaken your might,

For in the midst of the swirling storm,

Are we called to wage our fight,

Be steadfast in your stride, stately in your bearing,

For lions move confidently amidst the pridelands,

And a kings resolve is bold and daring,

Patience is refined in the midst of conflict,

Pain is the refining tool,

For warriors are tried in the midst of combat,

And kings are judged by the quality of their rule.
