Fire Side Stage

If we built it together, it will last. A pair of contrasting poems.

Sparks

Soft tinder starts

Cinders spread asunder along side sizzling sights of low growing thunder

The fire cries, crackles and rises

Its brilliant flames surprised that its desires comprise only a slice of its ire.

Wind-Fire Life

Wild, wanton, wandering and wondering shadows

Round and Bound

Earth-Metal Ground

Its sound abounds

Smouldering

Over hours

Deeper fires creep in heat

An eternal force to meet

as the amazing blaze is tamed

by soft sunset rain

Water Weeks

Ashs left swirling and twirling in the currents currently

Churning in my chest

Surmised and sly, unshy flames lay claim

Untamed games

I rest simmering in a steam blessed nest

-----------

Unaggregated

Aggressive Wild Fires

Scorch my tender ribs

Rip, tear, break, bear teeth

Evoked from underneath

This beast is ready to kill
