Fading Love

hen Love is Not Enough

The love we shared was once so bright

A blazing fire that lit up the night

But now it's just a dying flame

And I'm left here alone to take the blame

Our love was meant to last forever

But it seems like it's fading, now or never

I tried so hard to keep it alive

But it seems like it's time to say goodbye

Every moment we shared, every kiss we stole

Now feels like a distant memory, a story told

We tried to hold on, but it's slipping away

And I'm left with nothing left to say

I thought our love was unbreakable

But now it's just a fragile and unstable

It hurts to see what we've become

And I'm left with a heart that's numb

As we part ways, my heart still aches

For the love that we once shared, no mistakes

But now it's time to let go and move on

And hope that one day, our love will dawn

Fading love, a bitter pill to swallow

When love is not enough, it's hard to follow

But I'll hold on to the memories we've made

And cherish the love that we once portrayed.
