Empty Souls
A Poem

Empty souls
Trying to fill the hole
The void
All to avoid the reality
There is no amount of alcohol, drugs, or roids to make the pain go away
No amount of likes on your post
Will ever take away what you want most
A connection
From the years of abuse and neglect
Tattoos and gym bruises
Are all useless
If you don’t heal yourself from the inside out

Hopfully sharing your thoughts helos
Absolutely true. Though sometimes sensitive souls who note the inner struggles & turmoil can help with the healing process by offering connection.
This is amazing, especially those last two lines. Well done.
