Hidden beneath clothes.

    Excellent and jarring as well. I thought of hydrangeas at first which are so delicate and then you are taking something so beautiful and using it to describe a hidden bruise just like a smile can cover a lot.

    Wow! This one packed a wallop. I read it. Almost didn't comment. Then it sunk in. And that's the best sort of poetry to me, the sneaky ones you don't recognize right away. GREAT JOB!
