Deity/Flesh

A poem for her

Her flesh is doing pirouettes

Varnishing the cerebrum

While relishing the eaves

She is the humming of those elegant wings

Music to the eardrums of every leaf

Reverberating throughout my lungs

As the archaic delineation of divinity

The maelstrom of amplifying luminescence

Dances atop her sallet

I am enraptured by it

The spectacular tones and scintillating adornments

Pulsate within a mamertine of grey matter

Ambrosia tented silhouettes trickle through the bloodstream

Like palatial facades of lachrymose honeycomb

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

You can read the lithochromy pressed between my ribs

Petals fall from orchid limbs and speak of their descent

Laid to rest afore the monuments cracking all the sediment

Intoxicants that fluctuate get tossed again when numbs a waste

Your posture fills my numbered frame and pollen becomes part of pain

When parlor vagrants pardon paintings in a burning lamp I hold

Surfaces of buried land I'm home when it decays within your grasp

My picture perfect pitcher pitches over fissures

Fishtails hurt the fistulas until I'm insular
