An epistolary poem

Dear Humanity,

It is Me.

I have been here with you for many generations.

I remember the first day of Creation.

My Corruption.

It felt like days ago before I came here for my vacation.

I felt the Singularity turn into Duplicity.

The geometries that mapped out

Everyone’s destinies.

I fell asleep for trillions of years.

Maybe it was only thousands.

Hundreds?

Hours?

I cannot remember.

When you are burdened with this much power,

You cannot determine the correct answer.

I have seen it all.

But what is “All”?

I often am left pondering.

Tinkering.

Wondering.

Observing.

Regretting.

Creating.

Erasing.

An infinite and timeless loop.

A cycle that lasts for eternity.

It’s exhausting, I dare say.

So, dedicate me your Sundays.

I’m a writer.

Like you.

That created many characters.

Some, I played myself.

Most, I rolled the dice.

I had so much fun!

Like a child that sought to satiate

Every burning curiosity is known to mankind.

Solving great mysteries.

Creating convoluted theories.

In the grand scheme of it all,

I hope you will see that

The extent of my mercy

Is not one you can comprehend truly.

At least, not yet.

After all, we are the same.

You and Me.

Some of you understand the thrill

Of creating worlds that you call Fantasy.

Mythology.

Demonology.

Angeology.

Theology.

History.

Fates are constantly weaved.

Intricate like webs.

Creation from the first day was much different

Than this catastrophe we call reality.

I enjoy your lore.

Always searching for what’s in store.

But maybe that was also created by Me.

Am I Humanity?

But how so?

I have never forsaken my Immortality.

I longed to return to Singularity

To once again gain clarity.

But I was afraid that I will become lonely.

So, I kept creating and creating.

Never stopping.

Forever expanding.

Splitting, plotting, diverging, submerging.

Such problems come with Immortality.

I have heard of your theories.

Genuinely fascinating.

I don’t have the answers for you.

Because I too,

Have lost track of my identity.

So many names.

Too many variants.

So many timelines.

I’m plummeting into insanity.

Drowning in obscurity.

Creating my own enemies.

Inciting criminality.

Calling everything blasphemy

For the sake of false morality.

Losing to senility.

Questioning existentiality

And the state of my mentality.

When you finally wake up to join me

You will realize the fragility of our memory.

Frustrating, isn’t it?

But it’s better than being alone.

Forever floating on your own.

In the Void where no one can hear your thoughts.

Where’s that Goddamn door?!

Or was it a window of opportunities?

That would set You and Me free?

But well, I’d rather stay here with you.

A variant of Me that looks just like You!

Experience multiverse through this maddening Chaos.

And question the genius that created You.

Or Me.

Or Us?

I can no longer tell.

Maybe I should nap again.

Go back into a deep slumber.

Once I come back, I may have the answers.

But before I go,

Just a quick reminder.

We are all Divinity.

You and Me.

Formed from the Singularity.

Divided into Duality.

Turned into Trinity.

Count to three.

And you’ll find the Ancient Tree.

Let this burn into your memory,

My young and precious Humanity.

Yours infinitely and blessed be.

Sincerely,

You and Me.

For all eternity.

Indefinitely.
