Waiting for the colors to come
Isn’t the brightest strategy.
You have colors in your life
Because you invite them.
Don’t deny yourself
The simplest joys.
Sure you want big things
And you want things to change
And get better. But while
You’re working on creating
This magical place for yourself,
Indulge in the little joys.
The ones that are pure
And innocent.
They’re ones that add a
Mischievous sparkle to your eyes.
The ones that make you smile
Like only a little child can.
Are you smiling yet?
You know what I’m talking about!
Sure we’ve got to be
Responsible as adults,
But do we really have to grow up and
Become all serious and unhappy?
I thought being an adult meant
I could make more decisions
That made me happy.
Whatever happened to that?
Time to go and make a few changes!

Peaceful Purpose
I have noticed that in the professional sphere, as far as I have noticed, that many people choose to come to work, mainly with the intention of collecting a paycheck, which I completely understand, unfortunately, we all need money to survive in this world. I also feel very strongly about the fact that if you are going to work in a profession, you should certainly treat that profession, whatever it may be, with the dignity that its purpose entails, whether you are working in the medical field, or working at a fast food restaurant, you should do you best to do the best job you can, because when it comes right down to it, we are all humans, going through the trials, and challenges that this life can bring us, by working together.
