Cinnamon roll

Synonym troll

You’re a bit of a sticky wicket

Oops, I just wrote bot

Instead of bit

Hope you don’t get caught

Because that’s how you write now

Somehow

Someway

You still manage to publish nearly every day

But complain

When others do the same

You fill your stories with nonsense

Things that are unrelated

At first, I thought it was interesting

A different spin

But now I hate it

Because I see it for what it is

You write just the minimum

Then use wikis or other “sources” to fill the count

Is it worth it?

At best you’re getting about a few dollars a day

Oh, hurry!

It’s funny

You make a big drama

Or should I say trauma

About going away

But then you post anyway

So, it’s just for the clicks

The sympathy

Ick

This attention-grabbing makes me sick

It’s like a child

Doing anything to get a smile

Raise of admiration

For nothing more than bad behavior

Savor it while you can

Because maybe not today or tomorrow

But your hour is at hand

    Nicely done.

  • A tiny bit of nonsense is always good for the soul, I say. (Unless someone is around who thinks you're having a stroke & calls an ambulance to take you to the hospital. Then it's not funny at all. No, not funny at all.) No, that's never happened to me. Why do you ask?

Loved your piece! And it’s true people do the bare minimum.
