They Keep Us Close And They Make Smile
Yes They Hurt Us If They Ever Break
But Being Close, That's A Price We Pay

One Day Like This
Introduction I have been waiting for a very long time to use "One Day Like This" in a poem and now that day has come. Today on Facebook my friend Karen included me in a list of dates to plan. I shared it and almost all the people who came up for me were Vocal friends. Here is a screenshot. Cathy Holmes and Heather Hubler suggested I write a story for Breakfast with Cathy and Coffee with Heather.

Lifeβs like a book β some parts are good, others not so much. Still, keep turning the pages; you might find the best chapter next. If someone hurts you, choose to forgive or just let it be, but never change who you are for them.
