Something that you told me stayed in my head

When you said

The best sense is bought sense

But it’s better when someone else buys it

So I’ve lived my life

Watching the deals go by

While everyone else can go down memory lane

I stay the same

Too afraid to make a mistake with my pay

We only get one life to live

This ain’t no dress rehearsal

You should have told me to act the play
