Blue Eyes

You are a pair of blue eyes,

And a beating heart.

You are a dramatic play,

With a missing part.

You say you want one thing,

Then you change the line.

All I’m asking of you,

Is a piece of time.

You came out of nowhere,

You stole my air.

Now I'm left here wondering,

If you even care...

You are a silly boy,

With a messed up soul.

How can I want something,

That isn't whole.

You told me you’d be there,

But you’re not around.

All the memories of you,

are a pretty sound.

You left without warning,

So I said goodbye.

Yes, I am again alone, but

I will not cry.

Because,

You are a pretty face,

That is full of lies.
