ANOTHER SONNET ON THE BIRTH OF VENUS

Shellfish hadn't transported her in this poise:

She herself emergent from ABYSS//--set pause

To freeze-frame each florescent timespace in laws

Of strict Perspective, guiding Her counterpoise

By laws of Nature? Supreme, devoid of noise,

Only silent humid winds can close the clause

While all begotten clausules make mute applause

For VENUS born fullgrown in perfect equipoise.

High-flown and always picture-perfect form\

Tho' planting passions to duplicate life's speed/

Was not so picture perfect towards our norm:

Unsettled in an androgynous need\

That stoked fires of desire for making warm/

The future hope of every nascent SEED...

Another, published earlier.
