Beauty of Him

My Love, My Life, My Soul

Beauty of Him

Let me start this off by saying this isn't the best poem, but it is the prettiest. I usually write about dark stuff but, if it weren't for my fiancé I wouldn't find my inner self.

Laying down feeling the warmth around your body

While you look up you see shapes of things you most desire

As clouds slowly form into your own happiness you notice the clarity of your feelings

You reach your hand up to only block the bright future

But when you move your shadows the light comes bursting out

The grass slowly sways around your body as the wind touches you

Flowers dance upon your fingertips as the sun feeds them

The way you walk through the meadow you realize

The beauty you seek here is the soul in you
