It fell from a sky filled with oranges

It beat the damned

It shone like a diamond

It even had a friend

The hand that held it was never ending

Together they pulled fruit from the sky

And basked in juices

This is an excerpt from one of my next poetry manuscripts. I have two on the go, each a full collection. I will post the publishing date but it might not be for a while. What would the industry be without an excerpt here and there. I hope you enjoy this one.
