Thought I would try writing a haiku that is inspired by a mountain. Syllable count 5 first line, 7 second line, and five third line.

Awesome pic. Loved the haiku.
Mmm, seeing a big cold mountain from a warm, passing train, lovely!
I need to come up with a tight haiku. I hope the haiku challenge hasn't melted away.

Nice 👍
Loved the point of view of your poem! Very beautifully written!
Beautiful view. Love it.
I love the perspective of viewing the mountain from the train! Beautiful!
Nice viewpoint, original!
I loved the “viewed from the train” line - lovely and have not seen that imagery yet. :) Also, the name Denali in itself is very poetic, I think, beautiful choice!!

Beautiful. That's where I saw my only wolf in the wild.
Glorious!
You don’t need to climb it to appreciate it!
Simple, but effective. My prairie-dwelling self is envious!
Beautiful words, my friend. Well done.
❤️
I've always wanted to see Alaska. Great poem. :)
Hope the heat was on in that train. Great Haiku. 🥰
Beautiful haiku poem, Babs. I hope to travel to Alaska someday.
Your haiku goes perfectly with that stunning image, great work :)
