We met it seems,
So long ago,
As if in dreams,
Though we both know,
How long it has really been.
When we met,
We made our mark,
That perfect moment,
That brilliant spark,
Oh how long it has been.
Our lives took separate journeys,
Our paths went separate ways,
Only one thing remained constant,
I thought of you every day,
How long has it really been?
Our hearts met once again,
So many many years later,
Yet no time had seemed to pass,
Our love still sharp as a razor,
I don't know how long it has been.
After all this time I love you,
I always will,
Time and distance couldn't change that,
I love you still,
No matter how long it has been.
