Aboding Here Or There

Ocean rising and sky falling on fine face,

not caring about living arrangements, just need enough headspace.

Places to dream when everyone is awake,

lack of sincere conversation adds to constant heartache.

Many fail to show proper curiosity, or interest,

glowing visages and scrolling fingers succumb to notorious arrest.

Would an EMP actually be so bad after all?

Could social retardation be society's downfall?

A myriad of communication tools and creative means,

but so little of it is authentic, or long-lasting, at all it seems.

Don't question bounce, dodge or divert,

instead, think, answer, and yourself, assert!

For the love of mankind, please learn to care,

floating here on genteel water, this is my morning prayer!
