A Star’s Problems

Surviving in a Universe

She was a Star upon her creation,

Star was tossed into a random universe and told to shine,

Turned out that Star shinned brighter than all the rest,

As time went by Star began to dull,

Star tried everything to stay bright but had no success,

Her once blue frosty glow was almost gone,

Star began to give up,

She soon decided that she didn’t want to shine anymore,

What was the point of a star with no shine?

Star changed her direction and drifted to the galaxies edge,

Star was about to put herself out when something slammed into her,

Star looked around only to see a new universe,

This new universe wanted Star and her brightness,

Star was confused until the universe taught her about her brightness,

Turned out Star’s brightness was based on how dark her universe was,

Star found a new home where she could be her true bright self
