A marveled crowd
Excited and proud
Expecting to be wowed
Watching everything
Enjoying circus bling
Action in each place
Bringing smiles to the ticket buyer’s face
Then a performer walked out
Confident and stout
Escorting diplomatic, partner jungle king
Spotlighting a frightful fling
Devilish dare he
A stunt everyone should see
Lion’s mouth goes the head
Death defying experience, he won’t end up dead
Then everyone cheers
Second earlier they showed fear
Another stage
Clown acting their age
Animated, escaping from a comedic cage
Taking a bath
Making their audience laugh
Riding a cycle having one wheel
Bought on sale, what a deal?
Attention switches wanting another scare
More individuals who love a dare
Carefully marching the tight rope
Balance used to cope
And those who fly through the air
Calling it a family affair
Worthy of a friendly flair
Especially when one lets go
Destined to the nets below
Safe and sound
Comforted by the trusting arms of a clown
And the applause
Knowing it was a choreographed fall
When looking for answers
Three rings and a dancer
May achieve peace
Instead counting military deceased
Fighting a war
Where there is no musical score
Only an exit door
Luring the risk taker
Into greeting their maker
Next time you need a thrill
Check out the amusement marquee bill
Get your rollercoaster fill
Let the Cotton candy disappear
Not requiring you to shed a tear
Only a message to heed
Planted entertainment, peaceful seed
Cultivating healthy feed
Filled with a nutritious feel-good deed
