The Burning of Wood and Emotions

A Fire

A fire starts with a single lonely flame, swaying on what looks like a pocket of air

A fire is started on a bed of crushed discarded newspapers and woodchips, it flashes up for a few brief moments then quickly disappears

A fire is started by taunting and aggression, poking and prodding, huffing and puffing, pleading and cursing

A fire is started by thoughtful plotting and meticulous architecture, by studious praise and then triumphant applause

A fire starts with a bang, a roaring entity into itself, whirling where it will, consuming whatever is in its path, and will extinguish itself in its own time

A fire starts small and grows big, it can be contained but never controlled, it is hard to start but all too easily snuffed out
