A day someone surprised you with kindness

It was a day that felt so heavy and blue,

With so much on my plate, what could I do?

The world was spinning, my head was a mess,

I felt like I was in a constant state of stress.

But then a stranger appeared out of the blue,

Offering me a small bouquet of flowers, brand new.

The gesture was simple, yet it meant so much,

And in that moment, I felt a sudden rush.

Of gratitude and warmth that spread through my heart,

A feeling that lifted me up and set me apart.

From the worry and the pain that I was feeling before,

Now I was filled with hope, and my heart felt restored.

The kindness of a stranger had the power to heal,

To make me believe that my happiness was real.

And though I never saw them again after that day,

I will always be grateful in every single way.

For that surprising bouquet that came out of nowhere,

A reminder that kindness can be found anywhere.

And that even in the darkest times we can find light,
