A day you laughed through tears

Laughter Through Tears

The day was filled with sadness and sorrow,

As we said goodbye to someone we loved so.

The tears flowed down our cheeks like a river,

And we tried our best to hold it together.

But in the midst of all the pain and the grief,

There was a moment that brought some relief.

A funny memory, a joke or a smile,

That broke through the tears, if only for a while.

We laughed through the tears, and it felt so strange,

But in that moment, it was a welcome change.

For a brief second, the weight was lifted,

And we found ourselves feeling almost gifted.

It was a reminder that even in the darkest times,

There can still be moments of joy that shine.

And though the pain may never go away,

We can find comfort in laughter, day by day.

So let us remember to hold onto those moments,

When laughter breaks through like the sun through the firmament.

For though we may cry and feel overwhelmed,
