A Bowl of Vanilla Ice Cream

What...?

He was a bowl of vanilla ice cream.

White. Sweet. It would seem.

Then as the white delicious treat waned.

More and more confidence he gained.

At the bottom of the bowl,

he started playing a new role.

All the crazy toppings were underneath,

like a sword coming out of its sheath.

Wild and crazy were the gummy worms.

Looser, suddenly, became his terms.

Crunched up Oreos and colored sprinkles.

Silly, goofy faces and nose crinkles.

Skittles, drippy hot fudge, and chocolate kisses.

Lots of laughter and gaggling, giggling hisses.

First sight was definitely misleading.

Mischief he would soon begin breeding.

Making a ruckus and singing bits of songs.

Stirring up a musical amongst the throngs.

So, the next time you see a bowl of vanilla ice cream.

Think twice about the first impression that you deem.
