A Third Pro Peace Pantoum
Introduction
While going through Vocal's Poetry tags for some reason. Pantoum caught my eye. I thought I would investigate it and the second result is below.
Since I passed 1900 in my Vocal stories, each of the next 106 stories may coincide with years of significance. The Second World War was between 1939 and 1945 so they are significant, and I am using them to share two more pro-peace messages in Pantoum form.
The music is "London Can Take It" by Public Service Broadcasting

Right there with you in wishing for worldwide peace! I'm not too familiar with this style of poetry, however, this is a piece that gives you pause and is staggering when reading those totals. Even two more civilians lost is 2 too many.✌🕊
Nicely done!
I had never heard of a Pantoum! This was wonderfully done. Also, congratulations on 1900 stories!! That is a formidable achievement.
Never forget & never again..., & then we see what is happening today.
I had never heard of Pantoum, so thank you! I have learned a thing :-D xx
Mike Singleton - Mikeydred your Pantoum effectively combines historical reflection, poetic form, and a call for awareness, creating a piece that invites readers to reflect on the past and consider its relevance to the present. Well done!
Thank you ❤️😢
Your poem is a terrifying reminder of what might happen if we forget the bloody consequences of war in the apocalyptic 20th century. Great work!
