The Devil Studied To Destroy You

The Villain Of Life That Wants To Destroy You

The Devil, I have always believed, has the most interesting story. He was once an angel, but later became a demon who ruled over Hell. If you think about it, we often find these stories the most captivating. Just take a look at Darth Vader in Star Wars.

Lucifer, being dissatisfied with being God's favorite angel, desired to surpass and surpass God. He aimed to overthrow Him and claim divinity for himself. However, God, asserting His supremacy, banished Lucifer from heaven. The Devil, in his attempt to destroy God, faced a formidable adversary.

Later on, Lucifer, in the form of a serpent, approaches Eve and persuades her to consume the forbidden fruit in the Garden of Eden. He cunningly convinces her that by doing so, she will attain knowledge comparable to that of God. Succumbing to temptation, Eve eats the forbidden fruit and, driven by her love for Adam, convinces him to do the same. As a consequence of their disobedience, Adam and Eve become mortal, subjected to physical pain and death. God punishes them by banishing them both from the Garden of Eden. The devil destroyed them.

The Devil even attempted to destroy Jesus, but he proved to be impervious to the temptations. Jesus displayed unwavering strength and resisted all the temptations thrown at Him by the Devil.

I believe that we are frequently tempted every day by actions we know we should refrain from, yet we give in to them regardless. I understand that it can be exceedingly challenging, as we often fail to consider the consequences that follow. We become trapped in the present moment, succumbing to immediate gratification. Perhaps, upon reflection, we can attribute these temptations to the Devil placing obstacles in our way. While some may argue that God presents challenges in our lives, which can be true, we must also acknowledge the presence of the Devil, who tempts us with enticing distractions.

I believe that each one of us is akin to Adam and Eve in their circumstances. If placed in the same situation, I believe that many of us would make the same decision they did. Our imperfections as human beings make this whole narrative even more poignant and profound. It is both humbling and awe-inspiring to recognize that we possess the capacity to jeopardize our lives in mere moments. While Jesus demonstrated exceptional strength in resisting temptations, we must acknowledge that He is of a unique nature, beyond comparison to us mere mortals.

The Devil, indeed, poses a constant threat, attempting to bring destruction into our lives every single day. It is crucial to pause and reflect on our actions, contemplating the temptations that can harm our souls. Confronting the unpleasant emotions that arise after engaging in wrongful deeds is essential. As humans, we acknowledge that it is easier said than done to resist these temptations. Nonetheless, it is imperative to make a personal commitment to strive our utmost to do what is right.

It's clear that, despite reading this, people will still give in to temptations because we're only human. Everyone continues to face their own temptations. Some individuals become adept at resisting them, while others consistently give in.

I encourage you to persistently strive against the temptations that you wish to avoid in your life, particularly the negative ones. Keep up the fight, and if you do happen to give in, view it as an opportunity for growth and learning. Remind yourself of the unpleasant emotions that accompanied that decision, and use them as a reminder of why you never want to experience such feelings again. Let them serve as motivation to steer clear of similar temptations in the future.

I don’t want you to take this as religious propaganda but understand that the devil is a metaphor for the temptations in your everyday life.

So fight against that, fight against the devil that has studied to destroy you.

Just a quick little message for ya:

I felt the need to write this, to release the thoughts swirling in my head. I want to clarify that I'm not religious; rather, I'm using biblical stories as a metaphor. I've always been drawn to the stories in the Bible, just like any other captivating tale. Growing up, I discovered solace in stories whenever I faced difficult times. I've always believed that a good story can heal sadness. For me, stories are the ultimate form of therapy. They hold the answers to life's challenges; you just have to venture out and find the right one. I wholeheartedly believe that they add value to your life, even if you may initially doubt their impact.

If ever you find yourself feeling down, tempted, or in need of assistance with no one around, and you've exhausted all other options, my humble advice is to seek out a story—any story.

Thanks for reading!!
