Oh, You’re Unhappy?
Life seems to have a mysterious way of doing things. Some may claim that everything life has dealt them has been a great misfortune. They don't have the job they want, they're not making enough money, and they're unlucky. I've always wondered why so many people go through life with unfulfilled dreams. Why are so many people in the world unhappy? Why do people work in jobs they absolutely loathe? Why are people that want to be rich so poor?

What Buddha Can Teach us about Going Big
February is the official month of giving up on year resolutions. I certainly have been struggling to keep up with mine. My background is in business development, which makes me prone to planning, setting deadlines and milestones. As I don't seem to reach my expectations and lose my motivation, I can't stop thinking of Buddha.

The Art Of Being Successful
The key to being successful is patience! You must remember Rome wasn't built overnight. There's no such thing as a overnight success. Even those who had content that went viral put in work prior to the content that got them noticed by the world. Before thinking of becoming successful you have to realize the difference between being rich and being successful. I'm sure you can think of one or more celebrity or even a once established business that went bankrupt. The complete opposite of being successful! It's not about where you start as long as you start, progress is progress no matter the speed. An important part to being successful is to keep striving and dont worry about where you are as far as progress but think of the end result you wish to achieve. Not only will this help to keep you motivated but you will seem to attract the level of success you long for.

Excuses Are For Assholes
So relax, that means I was an asshole long before you were. I was 30 years old when I decided to sit down and write morning pages based on Julia Cameron's amazing book, The Artists Way. Check out my site and you’ll see a great article by Gina Soldano that goes in-depth on this. For our purposes here, this is where my excuses ended.

3 Ways Your Critique Group Might Be Destroying Your Writing
Anyone who has been writing for more than a few minutes has likely heard about the benefits of joining a critique group. The theory is that such groups offer helpful insights so the individual writers can hone their craft and improve their stories while also providing accountability, networking, and support.

Beware the Alter Ego!!
Every time I create an alter ego, the fucker gets kick-ass famous! My first alter ego's name was, or rather, is, a gentleman who goes by the name of Trey Donaldson and he became Canada's biggest Bisexual Male Porn star( I kid you not!) who made it huge by hosting a groundbreaking sex information XXX website for all Men, alone or with partner(s), and regardless of their sexual orientation. I filmed 74 episodes and they were bought up like candy by the large XXX websites of the day so that they could offer my series to the millions of their members or paid subscribers who paid a monthly fee to access the content they provided(you know the drill…). What happened next sealed his, or rather MY, fate. The absolute, definitetive BIBLE OF PORN - The Adult Video News(AVN.com) dubbed him, or rather ME, ’the sexy Male equivalent to Dr. Ruth Westheimer,’ hand he/I just took off faster than I could catch up to him/ME. Actually, he/I skyrocketed to fame from 2002 to 2006. IT was CRAZY! It was quite a ride and yes, I actually DO know Miss Jenna Jameson and Ron Jeremy personally and I’ve got the photos and video to prove it! ( NOT Ron Jeremy - that’s just GROSS! But I did film an Interview about his <NOT> Penis Enlargement Pills. I did some cocain in a stairwell with him when we co-hosted a booth at the ‘Everything To do With Sex’ show, for a whole weekend back in 2002 at the Vancouver Convention and Trade Centre at Canada Place. I had just recently left employment there as a ‘cater-waitor’, so you could imagine the fun I had running arou7nd that place with a reciprocating dildo machine, terrorizing my former colleagues! It was a great weekend for Terry(That’s my REAL name, but more about the guy who runs the show, in a moment…)

The Magic of David Gichner
Hi! My name is David Gichner and I'm a 15-year-old magician. Back when I was 8 years old I saw a magic show and from that moment, my life changed, but I didn't realize it at first. I was just like every other 8 year old, I looked up magic tricks on youtube then performed them for my friends. I told everyone that I want to be a magician when I grow up but I was still young. I even decided to start a youtube channel and I taught some tricks that I learned from magic kits or other youtube videos. The years went on and I still said I wanted to be a magician as a career. I continued to see magic shows whenever I could. I was a little kid at the time though and I couldn't keep focus forever. When I turned 9 I started a business. At 10 years old, I did magic at 2 of my friend's little sister's birthday parties. That business didn't last very long because I was very young. I still loved magic but I didn't learn magic daily, I took tons of long breaks from it and then would come back to it occasionally. When I was 11 I realized that people don't want to hire a 10-year-old for their kid's birthday party. At this time I still practiced magic but only on certain occasions. This was until later on...

How a bad date turned into an important lesson on Van Gogh and creativity
About a year ago, I visited the Houston Museum of fine arts with a girl I'd never met before. It was our first date, and, much more importantly, my first time seeing a Van Gogh painting. She was a nice girl, but it's Van Gogh. Gotta keep my priorities straight. I love art, especially post-impressionism, so this was a dream come true for me. And the night did not disappointment. When I left the exhibit, I was only sure of one thing: The art I saw was special, like really special. Not long after leaving, I went with the girl, and her sisters to this Greek place in Montrose called Niko Nikos. Yeah, I said her sisters. It was a chaperoned date. After they finished eating, the girl and her family left me at the restaurant waiting for my Uber—thinking hard if I liked her enough to go on a second date. I've learned since if you have to ask that question, the answer is a NO. So, unfortunately, the art of the Dutch master temporarily took a 5 in the thinking space of my mind (playing the dating will do that shit to you). Later that week, the girl and I went on one other date (unchaperoned). Since then, I've gone on many more dates with the other person I was with: Vincent Van Gogh.

Are we so afraid of failure we end up failing ourselves?
As the saying goes: 'no-one’s perfect.' Then why do we work so hard at trying to get things right - all the time? Nobody wants to intentionally fail, and not showing up for a presentation or a test can be down to fear. It’s what we tell ourselves that determines our next steps and sometimes, the next few years of our lives.

Changing or Choosing?
Recently, I went back to my old house in South Carolina and spent some time with my father. I was surprised to see that the room that I spent many teenage years in was just how I left it. Nothing had moved. Nothing had changed. Everything had remained the same.
