Relationships? What comes to mind? I know I'm starting off with a lot of questions does that make any type of sense. Well, we run into this situation each and every day. Relationships are we running from something or we hiding from the truth of the matter. No one wants to be alone, but society tells us that we are greater being independent in everything. That we can accomplish everything in life, and be successful. It takes more than one person in order to play a game there has to be competition. It has to be more than one person or more than one thing it's hard to compete against yourself each and every day. How can you be competitive to the point of achieving greater when it comes to relationships? There are good things and bad things it takes people to be real with themselves and with others. Some people`s intentions of a relationship are to manipulate someone, to take control of others, or just want to abuse them. There are people who get into relationships for the benefit of a companion to grow together, to have memories, to have offspring, and to build family wealth.

Whatever your reasons are relationships are needed everyone would like to have someone or something to love. We run away from this word love when this word love is the true base meaning of life if we get an understanding of it. Love is needed I think to start a relationship. To keep great relationships, we as people have to stop being greedy. We want everything for ourselves, we want the best of everything, and to leave the worst. Sometimes the worst of a thing is not always bad it’s just that certain things come with the territory.

For example, if I become friends with another guy and we're playing two on two in basketball one of us would have to control the ball. The other one would have to participate as the second member of the team. In order to accomplish the goal of winning against our opponent. There is only one basketball so therefore both of us cannot be in control of the ball at the same time, so there must be a compromise on who's taking control. We can share control with one person in control at a time, or we can agree to allow one person to control the whole game. Either way, we have to compromise at some time. Meaning you're not always going to be the lead. Sometimes you may have to be the assistant, but if it accomplished the goal at hand is that truly a bad thing?

Society teaches us to own everything, not to be ourselves, to be independent, and all about self. Does that seem lonely? How would you share your good news? If there's no one else around who would care? Who would listen to the bad news that you have? If it's all about self and being independent relationships are not needed. We need some type of communication. People were made to communicate with each other.

Having a good relationship is a great way to communicate with good communication there's less misunderstanding. Just imagine a world with everyone having great relationships and getting along with each other. Compromising when is needed and standing up to the plate and taking control when necessary. What a world we will live in if everyone would do their part in a relationship. In your spare time just think about the relationships that you're in if it's Love, friendship, or just being in a relationship with blood-related. Ask yourself what can I do to possibly make the situation better. Can you compromise and allow the other person to lead or can you lead in a way that will allow the other person to compromise but yet be happy and content with the relationship that you have?
