Love is the Key
This truly is a unique time in which we are living. It is easy to let fear wash over you during this time and see only greed, corruption and hate in the world. But that’s not how I see it. Love is the key to happiness if you can just hold a sense of Oneness and have a higher perspective. Not only see our personal journeys in the micro but see in the macro that we are all One. We are humankind experiencing the same human experiences on our “beautiful blue marble of a home planet”. If this pandemic does any good it will be that it has brought people together like never before. This image from the Planetary Society posted on Earth Day has helped me hold onto hope that we are coming together to save humankind and our planet, letting love be the driving force behind it all. Planetary Society’s mission is “Empowering the world’s citizens to advance space science and exploration”. This leads me to point out that The International Space Station has had 20 years of successful peaceful cooperation among the space agencies. Showing that if we work together, with love, no matter our backgrounds, we can advance.

Getting through it.
As human beings, we can almost sense what others are feeling. Whether they are screaming internally or externally, we can feel their minds being filled with emotion, we can feel their hearts being filled with passion. When one experiences love and happiness, they express that feeling by speaking in joyously. When one experiences pain, they’ll howl out of grief, sadness, or anger. An extraterrestrial would look at us and automatically know that we cannot keep our emotions on a lock. If they observe closely enough, they’d hear the numerous “ ughs!” And the, “Oh my gosh’s!” that are embedded within our daily lives. The ongoing chatters, the people that are embroiled with their spouse or boss, the laughter of children whilst they’re playing, the late night highways that never fail to stay busy, it would appear without saying that calling this planet active is an understatement. We are an astonishing collection of interactive creatures that undoubtedly depend on communication. Beyond the houses, neighborhoods, cities, states, countries and continents lies the cosmos. Our conversations are lost in the sea of space. However, I find this fact to be quite humbling, which brings me to the photo that makes me jubilant.

NOT THE NORMAL CHILDREN'S BOOK AUTHOR
I never wanted to be a writer. My dream was to be a brain surgeon one day. Then, about five years ago, I woke up around one in the morning, and began writing, and haven't stopped since. I wrote about 20 children's stories, and sat on them, until recently.

You Told Me To Stop Posting On Social Media
DISCLAIMER: As you begin to feel like you’re entering into another cliché post thanking the “haters” for motivation, I ask you to focus more on my response, rather than the people I may never make happy. If hate is the sole reason why we’re driven, then we will miss out on the ones who are sharing love. Invite love into your heart, and you will realize happiness can inspire you more than darkness.

Have a day!
ok...I will explain the drawing in a few, but I hope you are all staying home and staying safe. When I was in high school, “Have a nice day” t-Shirts, bumper stickers, posters and that sort of stuff we’re all the rage. Sort of like poop emojis now! Me, being the Smart Alec I am, drew the above picture to make fun of those. I used to tell people “Have a Day!” And when people would ask “ Don’t you mean have a nice day?” I would tell them “No...just have a day! What business is it of mine whether it’s nice or not?” 🤣

Living in a Judgemental Society
How would you react, upon being called fat? What would you do if someone judges you for being real? When presented with these situations, we can simply decide to love ourselves more and focus on what’s really important, OR we can choose to react to the pressure of these comments by putting so much effort in seeking approval from others. Unfortunately, most of the people opt for the latter. Too many a time, we abide by these “labels” given to us, and try all sorts of ways to try to cope with the feeling of rejection by keeping it to ourselves and continuously try to get used to it.

What Doesn't Serve You
It’s funny, the things we buy to comfort our wants. Something so small, or not known to really be meaningful in the moment other than just being "things." So we buy that necklace we saw through an Instagram ad, or that shirt we thought was meant for us to have, because it’s still on the rack when you pass it for the fifth time during your “I’ll think about it,” walk around the store. Maybe it’s that $100 shirt that’s “vintage” from Urban Outfitters, or those really expensive jeans you shouldn’t buy but for the sake of your ass it’s having that one good pair of jeans.

Day 2,000 in Quarantine
lol coronavirus is absolutely wrecking new york city as we know it. considering we are the most populated place ever we were hit pretty hard. i remember when the first person got it and it wasnt a big deal. then out of no where it seemed that 100's and 1,000's of people had it. and the virus didnt discriminate at all. all people can get it. the experts do say that seniors should beware though. it could really murk them. thats pretty much the only scary part for me at least. i just feel like alot of people who dont deserve to have their life cut so short (considering they made it so far) are deceased by the minute. literally the minute. its a scary world to be in right now. and it seems like everyone is running around like chickens with their heads cut off or something. including the government. they seem pretty scared about the situation as well. in a very unpopular opinion i feel that parts of our government has been doing a pretty good job. the numbers are decreasing and we are finding a way to fight this virus. it took a pandemic for just a teensie weensie bit of unity within our nation. but i cant complain its happening. and that all starts with the people. but im not obama , im not gonna preach here about that.

Thinking Outside the Box
Thinking Outside the Box Happiness Flows where the Mind Goes Let me take you back to 1989 when the first Dragon Ball Z series came out, it was a year before I was born in 1990. I continue to enjoy their different shows over the years and their different movies and series. No matter what is going on around me in my life I can always count on this anime to cheer me up especially during dark times in my own life. I been through a lot of dark times throughout my life from childhood, even though I did not understand much back then, up until the life I live today as a young adult. Dragon Ball Z helped me cope with my problems and issues as a child and young adult, the show encouraged me to be a better person and to help others no matter how hard life gets. Also, it gave me a way to escape from the pain that I felt over the years. It brought me joy, happiness, sorrow and laughter into my life. It showed me that no matter how hard life gets that we are the only real heroes in our lives to make it better. To make someone else’s life better by sharing our passion for the show or by simply just being a better friend, brother, son, or other half. That is what this TV series has done for me many times over. I am still no where perfect by any means, but I try to live a better life by watching others who have succeeded and knowing that if they can do it, then so can we.
