Safety
I have always paid close attention to people and situations that feel safe. It’s my superpower. I am drawn to them. Safety, to me, is not always a person or a situation. Sometimes it’s a place. Sometimes, it’s just a feeling. I have spent a long time learning to tell the difference between what is safe and what is a band-aid for insecurity.

Allow Yourself the Courage to Believe Differently
Nineteen months after my ministerial ordination I resigned. Literally, I found myself unable to ignore the multitude of questions I’d tried to suppress about God, faith, religion, spirituality, church, and church leadership. Because of this, I thought it best to step away from all my pastoral duties and leadership roles in our local assembly.

Be weird, I am!
How weird are you? Weirdness, along with any other personality trait, should be a case of personal perspective. What is weird for one person is not necessarily weird at all for the next, potentially totally bloomin' normal even. So, why is it I ask, that as a society the majority feel the need to supress their 'weirdness' to conform to the ideals. Is it that as humans we have an innate need to be accepted which overrules our desire to be happy and free? How far will we go in our quest for approval, while conforming to society hides our real persona?

You Do Have Time-
Have you ever uttered these words: "There just isn't enough time in the day”? I know I have. I mean, that's just how it feels sometimes, right? Between work, kids, chores – when is there actually a moment for us regular people to do something that we want to do?

What Are We Hiding From?
As I start this entry today, I’m still at the point where I haven’t decided to share my blog as of yet. Actually I haven’t even told anyone I started a new blog yet. Just the ability to write something like I did yesterday in a “public” setting, whether shared or not, was a step I hadn’t taken in quite some time. Well, I wanna back space and correct, but I’m doing that as little as possible here. It’s a step I haven’t taken at all. Yes, I’ve posted on Facebook and Instagram in support of those fighting mental illness, and I’ve confided in new friends and old about the struggles I’ve conquered and faced alongside my diagnosis. I’ve read the books and offered my take and advice to those who may need it, but have I posted on social media all of me. God no. I know many people who have displayed the balls to admit each piece of them others may judge with what could be perceived as no fear, and I applaud them for it when I see it. I love the support I see people give. It’s a burden we all bare that there is definitely stigma and denial all over that we fight to conquer, and I know we always will.

How to Complain in an Effective Way
We all complain. I'm a Brit - we spend half our lives grumbling about the weather! Social media is full of people complaining, mainly about the behaviour of others! But sometimes we need to complain about something that actually needs changing, fixing or addressing. These problems can be very difficult and quite personal, which can make complaining rather tricky. When something affects you personally it is hard to complain in a way that gets the action you are after.

When?
Procrastination is undoubtedly one of the biggest success killers in life. You'd be in an extreme minority of people worldwide if you haven't delayed making an important decision, or put off certain tasks for the next day, or for a later time, at various times in your life. Whether it be a case of setting back a task, because it's mundane, boring, complicated, or energy sapping, or be it a decision that we are afraid to proceed with, because we fear the worst result and we want more convincing, the vast majority of us believe delaying such tasks and decisions is what's best for us. How wrong we are! So firstly, there are decisions. Now, for starters, we actually use procrastination as a form of tactic, when it comes to people's invitations or offers. Inside ourselves, we know full well that we aren't really interested in certain invitations and offers, or perhaps it's something that we couldn't be bothered engaging in, but rather than flat out saying no, we are guilty of leaving that invitee with an inconclusive response. It's the good old "I'll think about it", or "I'll let you know", or "Not now, but maybe in the future", sort of responses. We do it because we feel rude in saying no, when the reality is, we are actually being rude by not being truthful in the first place. It's disrespectful to the other party, and not a response we should be proud of. There's nothing wrong with being honest and forthright.

Oxymoron
Life has taught us to love in moderation. To make sure that the next person doesn't get over on us. This is American culture. To be or not to be, we have one of two options. There's just this one thing that keeps the crabs in the bucket and that's the other crab. We all want to be better than the next or improving on the last. So to stay ahead we work harder than we play. We focus on career and business rather than home and family. We become connected to the course of cultivating our universe. America wants to be the pinnacle of the world and with that goal occupation has to become top priority. We are definitely the home of the brave, but freedom is created in this country not given. Regardless of the level of status one creates service is a commodity that never seems to die. So even when we believe we are free our lives are being used to serve a higher purpose. We are creating a world that is intended to live for generations. Our freedom lies where we decide to serve. This is where we find our will to continue life while loosing every minute we have to succeed. We want to keep walking but our feet tend to swell. While we're striving to become life is fleeting from our grasp. with every moment passing we come closer to death closer to eternity. So we must use our freedom to serve our command. We must do in order to become. With the accomplishments of life responsibility grows in priority and importance. With every level of growth there's a new flight of stairs lying ahead. The idea is to never give up and never stop progressing. The adolescent stage of life can create a complex eternity if one finds comfort in complacency. The idea is to be all that one can be and to conquer over what is beneath you. Never be a slave to your service, but let your labor serve you. This is America! This is the idea that has kept us under the command. The way of creation has forced us into a house and home. A family that continues the trend. We are serving the logic behind the idea of serving ourselves. We are still becoming on the time of recycled concept. A concept that has kept us free in the mind be bound behind physical walls. We must get free truly free. Get out all of the boxes and then sit with your creations. We are the cultivators the bring into the future. Never die behind concept and fleet from obligation, but take charge to the cause and be rewarded in tangible appearance.
