If not you, then who?
After surviving a year like 2020, it's probably reasonable to assume that the sole reason for celebrating New Year's Day 2021 was making it to see that clock strike 12:00. If you're like me, then you did not anticipate 2020 being anything like it was. Many of us started off last year with our age-old routine of making resolutions. You probably shared a #LongPost with a cute picture or two and an inspirational quote (because what is a social media post without one of those, right) and it probably got so many likes that it fueled a feeble and barely-there motivation to see those resolutions through to December.
You Do Have Time-
Have you ever uttered these words: "There just isn't enough time in the day”? I know I have. I mean, that's just how it feels sometimes, right? Between work, kids, chores – when is there actually a moment for us regular people to do something that we want to do?
Even Still, Hug Them -
As a mom of three boys, all under ten, believe me - I know what tired looks and feels like. Between working full time, 'mom-ing' full time, soccer practice, sincere attempts at creativity for dinner (even though hotdogs for the fifth time this month seems a lot less stressful), nothing can be more annoying at the end of a long day than that one, measly toy in the middle of the living room that you've picked up thirteen times already since making it home.
